Good morning, Subscriber First Name,Did you know that May is Women’s Health Awareness Month? A question worth sitting with:What have you been putting off when it comes to your health— and what does putting it off reveal about what you need or haven’t made space for yet? This month is truly a meaningful reminder to pause and look at something many women quietly put off, their own health. Not because it doesn’t matter, it really does. But because life is full. Responsibilities, schedules, families, work…It’s so easy to keep moving your own care further down the list. The truth is, prevention is one of the most powerful forms of self-care.We often think about our health only when something feels off and so much of our long-term health is shaped before we even feel anything going wrong.Preventive care can:Catch potential issues earlySupport better long-term outcomesGive you clarity and peace of mindHelp you stay consistent with the life you want to live
Many chronic conditions are influenced by lifestyle and can be better managed, or even reduced in risk, through early awareness and daily habits. Being one step ahead is just one way to stay connected to your health in a proactive and empowered way. What does prevention as self-care even look like?Scheduling your annual physicalBooking a screening you’ve been putting offFollowing through on something you’ve already startedWriting down symptoms or questions you’ve been meaning to addressTalking to a trusted friend or family member about your health goalsSetting a reminder to take that first step this week
Just doing one of these things is enough to begin. The one thing I’ve been putting off is that colonoscopy! I have to share that I finally scheduled it…I’m not looking forward to it, but it’s on the schedule and it’s gonna get done! I’m giving myself a pat on the back for that :)Preventive care doesn’t stop at a doctor’s visit. It’s also in the small, daily choices that support your energy, resilience, and overall well-being:How you nourish your bodyHow you moveHow you manage stressHow you rest and recover
And you don’t have to figure that out alone.I’ll ask again: What have you been putting off when it comes to your health— and what does putting it off reveal about what you may need or haven’t made space for yet? You’re InvitedIf you’re ready to take a more proactive, supported approach to your health—one that fits your life and what matters most to you—I’d love to connect.Schedule a free 30-minute connection call
A space to talk through where you are, what you’re noticing, and what support could look like moving forward.

This workshop is for competitive/club female high school athletes. In a recent survey I conducted in October of 2025, receiving over 100 responses, student athletes indicated the area of well-being they need the most support, is feeling energized on a daily basis.
